Fall Festivals Offer Spooktacular Halloween Fun

The City of San Diego has a fun lineup of seasonal activities planned for kids of all ages this fall season to get everyone into the spirit of Halloween. Fall Festival events are planned at multiple recreation centers and parks throughout the City and promise a spooktacular time.More than 35 events are planned throughout the month of October, and include carnivals, costume contests, games, arts and crafts, outdoor movies, lots of candy, and much more. Events are free to attend and open to all ages.“The fall season is a great time for families to get out and celebrate the season at activities we have planned all across the City of San Diego,” said Andy Field, Director of the Parks and Recreation Department. “Our team has worked hard to provide a lineup of safe, family-friendly events for everyone to enjoy and we hope you can join us.”Events are planned for this weekend – both Friday and Saturday – at various sites with activities including a carnival, movies in the park, and crafts and pickleball.
